John Varughese currently serves as Vice President, Dunkin Brands International (DBI). He oversees both the Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins business in Middle East, India, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia. Within this large territory, he is responsible for 32 countries and oversees around 5000 stores across both the brands.
Prior to serving as VP, John served as a Managing Director and International Business Manager for Dunkin’ Brands in the Middle East. He started his career in the FMCG sector but now has around 30 years’ experience in the QSR industry.
John has the unique advantage of having worked both for a Franchisee and a Franchisor. Having the distinct ability to deeply understand the business on both sides has been one of the driving factors of his consistent success over the years.
John loves drinking Dunkin original blend coffee with cream and his favorite Baskin Robbins flavor is Cotton Candy.
