Steven has over 35 years of senior executive experience in all aspects of the restaurant industry. He joined Cosi Restaurants in 2017 as the Executive Vice President, Purchasing and Development. Leading the successful turnaround and growth of the 25-year-old Cosi brand. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Cost & Product Management with Steak n Shake restaurants for 9 years. He also led the hugely successful turnaround of the 80-year old Steak n Shake brand. In previously roles he served as for 5 years as Global Vice President for Food Safety, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance with Burger King Corp, Inc. based in Miami and was Vice President of Health and Safety Regulatory Affairs for the National Restaurant Association based in Washington, DC for 12 years.
