Mr. Seib studied at Vienna’s Gastgewerbefachschule School of Hotel Management. After holding management positions with Wescho Gastronomie and Mövenpick, he joined HMSHost in 1993 as a Multi Unit Restaurant Manager. Throughout his career at HMSHost, he held management positions, including Food & Beverage Manager at Schiphol Airport, Director of Concepts & Marketing for HMSHost; European Development Team and later as Managing Director of HEMS, HMSHost’s Netherlands subsidiary which was responsible for food and beverage operations at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol—the company’s largest operation outside the United States.
He became Managing Director of HMSHost International for all business development and operations outside of North America and Canada. Additionally, he was Senior Vice President for HMSHost Corporation and part of the Senior Executive team of HMSHost Corporation.
He was then CEO of La Place, a leading restaurant chain in the Netherlands and Belgium with units at V&D department stores and at other high traffic locations. He also served as a member of the board for V&D Group, a department store chain in the Netherlands with an annual turnover of €1 billion.
He re-joined HMSHost in February 2012 as CEO for Host of Holland and Food & Beverage for Northern Europe, South America, Middle East & Asia Pacific in these three regions. In this position, he is responsible for all business development and operations in airports and other travel venues.
HMSHost International operates at airports in Scandinavia (Stockholm Arlanda, Skavsta Airport, Copenhagen and Helsinki), Ireland (Dublin, Shannon and Cork), India (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow, Chandigarh), New Zealand (Auckland and Christchurch), Australia (Cairns), Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Turkey, Russia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Great Britain and Netherlands. In addition to HMSHost operates airports International also on train stations and highways in Great Britain, Russia and Netherlands
He reports to the Autogrill Group CEO, Gianmario Tondato, and is part of the Senior Executive team of Autogrill Group.
