Mr Andrew Kwan is the Group Managing Director of Commonwealth Capital group of companies, which has investments across the food vertical including barramundi fish farming, cold chain logistics and centralised kitchen, butchery, bakery and ice cream manufacturing. Apart from its fully integrated food production & logistic platform, the Commonwealth Capital group also has investments in several brands such as PastaMania, Swissbake, Udders ice cream, The Soup Spoon, Baker & Cook, NYC Bagel Factory and The Poke Theory.
Mr Kwan was named the ASME - Rotary Entrepreneur of the Year, the Spirit of Enterprise ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and his companies have won numerous accolades including the Business Times Entreprise50, Fastest Growing50 as well as the Franchisor of the Year award by the Franchise and Licensing Association.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Enterprise Singapore and Singapore Food Agency, a Council member of the Singapore Business Federation, Vice-President of the Restaurant Association of Singapore and Chairman of the Advisory council of the Aquaculture Innovation Centre in Singapore.
Outside of work, Mr Kwan is a member of the Board of Directors of Focus on the Family, a Non-Resident Fellow of Eusoff Hall at the National University of Singapore and serves as an Elder at his local church. Mr Kwan is Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden.
