Mike joined Subway in May 2020 as the President of Subway Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in Amsterdam. He is responsible for the continued development, profitability and expansion of Subway’s brand in the EMEA region.
Mike has more than 20 years of experience working in marketing and General Management roles across consumer-packaged goods and hospitality industries. Prior to joining Subway, he served as President, International, for Focus Brands, an affiliate of the American private equity firm Roark Capital Group, which owns Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon and Jamba, among other restaurants and specialty food brands. He has also held various leadership positions at Coca-Cola, Bloomin’ Brands, Bain & Company, and Procter & Gamble.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and his MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
