Sudhakar Gupta's career has taken him into many different industries before settling into Business Development.
Sudhakar has 34 years of professional experience, with nine years of experience as a Director of International Business Development. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in the area of relationship and people management. In the course of his duties, he is responsible for providing support to the business group for new business development, as well as building sustainable relationships on a global basis and providing innovative and creative ideas and concepts to market. Sudhakar started his career as a Pastry Chef for the Oberoi Hotel in India for five years, and later moved to Unilever for five years as a Bakery Service Manager. He then worked for Burns Philip, which is now known as AB Mauri, as the General Manager of Business and Product Development, and finally ended up in IFFCO.
Sudhakar received a postgraduate degree in Food Production and Patisserie from the Oberoi School of Hotel Management in 1985, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University. In addition to his degree, he has studied Hotel Management at the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in 1983. He is a member of the Emirates Culinary Guild of Dubai and the Association of Chefs in India. In years to come, Sudhakar plans to continue learning and enhancing his educational skills, which will allow him to provide innovation and relationship management, and give back to the society and his community.
